LMFAO why not have one designed with a barf bag for the drunken salary men to pay 1 yen to go in and sober up after drinking all night instead of being laid out drunk on the train platforms or the streets. At least they could close the door and sleep it off in peace.

@Random I am reading the post here and people are calling the women stupid but little do they know they are just as stupid with their so call smart comments "airport personnel asks travelers if anyone has given them something to carry for them". Here's a little know fact if a traveler answers yes, their baggage will most definitely tag as one to be checked. All you are doing is helping the screening progress!!!

In addition to being asked if you packed your suitcase yourself, you’ll also be asked if anyone has given you something to carry for them. So not much sympathy for grandma.

@ Negative Nancy The answer to your question? " Why single out MMA as a waste of time?" for the same reason you don't think you could tolerate being with someone who considers shopping to be a hobby.

Good luck convincing your teenage daughter, or any Japanese woman for that matter! Meh, people like what they like. It’s like telling American guys to stop wasting their time watching MMA or wrenching around on their cars.

My wife is not interested in brands at all, thank god. I don't think I could tolerate being with someone who considers shopping to be a hobby. Such people deserve pity.

Why single out MMA as a waste of time?

Total idiots the only way they could find work was going on line getting recruited to commit a crime for someone they don't know to pay off their debts. I hope that they pay a lot more for just being plain stupid.

@virusrex I read the article too but could BARELY understand what happened to the bear. Was it trapped or killed. This reads as a poor copy and paste job.

The headline says the bear has been killed, but the article only describes it as captured in a trap, which is it?

Russia makes threats and barely have infantry men and have to rely on NK army to defend their country let alone buy ammunition from NK that works some time. Russia boasts about a hypersonic missiles just as we have heard about Putins hypersonic mouth. My advice to him is the US hear you and see you just keep talking but make no mistakes everything will be ok.

Posted in: Weasel kindergarten shoe thief still on the loose See in context

I don't get it the prevention method here is to put a net up to cover the cubbyholes. What are they doing to prevent the giant disease carrying rat from entering the building. I can understand the shoes are exchanged for cleanness for the children while in class but what about the germs the weasel is carrying and bringing in? No mention of trapping the weasel and moving it further away. Perhaps the weasel was a pet and has been set free and the previous owner gave it shoes to play with as the article suggested that owners gave their pets toys to play with.

Although the stolen shoes were never found, the remaining shoes are now safe at the kindergarten with nets installed over the cubbyholes.

@Alongfortheride Don't blame the government spending on military, why are you blaming the government your statement is so contradicting to the article which specifically states that the man had a Care Level 1 nursing certificate. That right there says there's a system in place, which should have perhaps trained him to contact support services should he need them as you said "pick up the phone and call for help" why state what what prevented the man from picking up the phone and calling for help. Why even go on a government rant when there was a system in place where he was educated to perhaps do his care taking job.

If somebody wants to take away my license when I’m 75 or whatever age, they had best be prepared to pick me up and take me to wherever I want to go, whenever I want.

Posted in: Man arrested for burying mother's body in Nara cemetery See in context

@kiwi07 Very detailed job description but how could you dig a hole knowing someday you would be going in one. Too morbid for me, but I understand someone has to dig it.

My first full time job was burying people at a cemetery. I didn't dig the graves, because that's a job that was done mechanically, but we did fill them in manually after the service was over and everyone had left. One thing that job taught me is just how hard it is to dig a proper grave as a hand dig. Once you get more than 60 cm or a couple of feet down, the ground is so hard and compacted that it becomes impractical with picks and shovels, unless it's like the old days and you and assistant use a day or two. That's the one thing many movies get wrong, where you see someone burying someone in a forest in a deep hole they quickly dug with a shovel. That's also why the phrase, 'buried in a shallow grave', is so prevalent in the crime section.

This guy should be band from Asia period. Why is he there and why does YouTube and Twitter show his antics. He is not an American he is a Somali national who just so happened to get a US passport on default which I think should be rescinded due to his embarrassing behavior with a US passport. He wants to behave as Ramsey Khalid Ismael he should not be allowed back into the US perhaps Samoli will take him back. If I was part of the South Korean government I would restrict his travel to no more than one mile and make it tough for him to enjoy and when his case come to trial jail him and deport him for ever.

Waking up and finding a 2 month old child dead would be a total shock perhaps the parents didn’t know what to do just as it was a life experience bringing the child into the work its also a life experience seeing your child leave the world before you. It’s not like they tried to hide the death after all the dad did reach out to a friend because he didn’t know what to do. I think his friend made the right call. The parents were at perhaps a total loss. Let the investigation determine the outcome and may the child rest in peace and the parents find some comfort

Posted in: Japan expresses concern to China over Russia-N Korea ties See in context

This is Putins game and the FatBoy is playing kissing cousins. Putin went to China for weapons and support Xi said no because he didn’t want his country to face economic sanctions so Putin went to the FatBoy and told him let’s become kissing cousins and make China envy how about me giving you technology transfers to help build your missile defense, air defense, food and should any country choose war against us we will form a pact to defend one another. With that said the FatBoy was rubbing his tummy and licking his chops because now he knows he doesn’t have to listen to China the master of NK and with a strong military and with Russia backing NK should China want to attack NK they would have to deal with Russia. Russia on the other hand gets a guarantee from NK to support a war should they have to fight China for the northern border XI was thinking of taking back. On the other hand SK doesn’t not like it at all because with all the military technology that FatBoy has they may become even more bold and want to attack Sk just as Russia is doing to Ukraine and China wanting to invade Taiwan. Japan doesn’t like it either so Japan goes to China to try to have some diplomacy to try to get NK to back down but China has no bite anymore China is now worried about China because now they have to deal with the missing cousins Putin and FatBoy. Its a mess someone has to go in and tame the FatBoy because his head is getting too inflated all it takes is one of his missiles to go off course or he decides to throw his weight around then things will get ugly. China is now on the outside looking at the two everyone else is in panic mode. Nk is giving China manpower to use as cannon fodder both are playing each other in the end someone is going to lose. Putin is the smarter one FatBoy is going to be on the losing end.
