The office of French Prime Minister Francois Bayrou said it had told all exhibitors ahead of the show that offensive weapons would be prohibited from display and that Israel's embassy in Paris had agreed to this. It added that the companies could resume their exhibits if they complied with this requirement.
If true Israeli complaints r totally unwarranted and reinforces the sense that Israel is the real threat and true aggressor

All you need to know that the military industrial complex is thriving in Japan, blissfully unaware it seems about how those trillions of yen put away for defense could be used to improve the lives of citizens

People addicted to Japanese porno find they cannot be stimulated by normal sex videos and therefore search out ever more disturbing content.
At that point they become very close to commiting some crime to satisfy their craving

There's a reason the US-Japan Security Alliance has worked so well for over 70 years - not only does it provide security guarantees for Japan which lives in a dangerous area with threats from China, North Korea, and Russia, but it also serves as a cap on these far-right LDP nut-jobs that want to go back to the "glorious" 1930s/40s...
Do a little research. It's Uncle Sam who reinstated members of the war era elite back into positions of power, including Abe's grandfather Kishi Nobusuke, who signed Japan's declaration of war against the US in 1941.
In the post war era with US support Kishi became the prime minister of Japan.

The ethos of the right for American citizens to bear arms is too deeply embeded in the history and mythology of how the US was founded, i.e. doing battle with Native Americans as well as British soldiers, to ever be seriously reconsidered by the powers that be.
In essence, people had to be killed by US citizens so that the glory of America could come into being.
So Americans just have to live with the ever constant threat of being shot, and that's just the way things will continue to be.

@kokontozai
Is this ranking reliable?
In 2010, Japan was ranked 12th, and I don't think the state of the news society has changed that much.
Yes in 2010 things were much better.
Then when Abe came to power again in 2012 he put into place measures which raised eyebrows.
