You don't know how this person would react (you don’t even know him), and you don't know how you would react, but at least we can plan and prepare for what we would hope to be able to do.
While I was out and about with my small kids and wife in Tokyo today, I was thinking about what I would do if a knife attack suddenly happened. Preparation is half the battle — knowing how to react calmly and effectively could make all the difference in an emergency like this.

Two things can be true. There is more pressure on teachers today to deliver results for average kids than there was 10 years ago leading to mental health problems. But there are also a lot of entitled people entered the workforce who just do not accept that the work is the work and cry uncle over basic job expectations.
So you think teachers (or any worker) should accept any conditions and shut up no matter how sick it makes them. Good luck with that distopian world view.
