If a religion harmed public safety in a more direct way like shooting or suicide bombing would this case set a precedence to disband it ? Asking for a friend.

@motytrah

I mean you can apply any pressure, threats, or the most logical reasoning but Trump will never listen to it. In the end only three things can stop him. Congress, courts or himself.

Take your bet, how will these tariffs get canceled ?

GOP in congress cave.

Lawsuits.

My personal bet: Trump will declare "victory" this week against Vietnam and Cambodia and call it off.

So a people who has never got along with their own neighbors for centuries can somehow get along with Japanese. And since when is left-wing group "our friendly community" ?

Posted in: Foreign-born CEO says Japan needs immigration to thrive See in context

Japan has industrialized, conquered half of Asia, resurrected from the ashes of war to become world power.

Suddenly because of a drop in muh GDP it needs to accept foreigners or die.

I've been thinking..how can people come up with concepts like diversity ? It never existed throughout history yet over the last decade we are told this is the only way a society can survive.

Notice this "I was getting tricked into carrying drugs" only happens to Australians. This is absolutely not the first time, there was at least another case like this in Bali.

I don't have a political right but as a taxpayer I deserve an answer to just one question: Why is my tax money being used to fund JET or ALT or whatever they call it ? This program produces zero even negative result and the only thing it adds to Japan is the number of foreign sexpats.

Posted in: Japan's latest tourism headache is American arrested for damaging Tokyo shrine See in context

Despite this recent elderly American idiot's best efforts, Chinese tourists are still leading the way for title of worst manners.

Johnny Somali is not Chinese. Neither is Logan Paul. Or the break-dancers on the train. For their worst I doubt if any Chinese have tried to burn apartment blocks, like what an American kid did here three weeks ago.

Wasn't there a teen also from America who tried to torch a half dozen apartment buildings in Tokyo a couple weeks ago ?

I don't get it. Why must they cause destruction and suffering wherever they go ?

Posted in: American man arrested for defacing Tokyo's Meiji Jingu shrine See in context

Maybe we have been too harsh on Chinese tourists. American tourists, they purposely pick up fight with people, break-dance on trains for their Tiktok audience and now straight up defile an ancient structure.
