China's population is over 11 times more than Japan.
China's army has 2,000,000 in it. Japan's has 230,000.
China's military budget is over four times more than Japan's.
China has nuclear weapons, Japan does not.
China's economy is much bigger than Japan's.
Japan has no chance!

I have lived in Japan for 18 years and have been stopped twice. Once for a random breath test when I was driving home late on Friday night. No racial motivation here, it was just a random check. One other time they checked that my bike was registered. Again, nothing racial here. I have seen police do this to Japanese people countless times. As bike theft is one of the few things that is a problem in Japan I think this a good idea. Whenever I have interacted with the police they were very friendly and professional. No complaints here.

The full scale invasion has been going on for 1,199 days. I don't think they need anymore time Trump.
Also didn't Trump said he would stop the war within 24 hours if he became president, suggesting that a single phone call or a direct negotiation could achieve peace? Well he has had three phone calls and 137 days in office. This is extremely inefficient work from a government worker. Should he be sacked for this?

The total number of Japanese residing overseas for three months or longer is over 1.29 million.
Yes, the 570,000 was for permanent residents abroad. However the total number of Japanese people living abroad (including short term) has dropped for 4 consecutive years. This mean that Raf's following statement,
Many young Japanese are leaving Japan because they can see the writing on the wall. More tax and more social contributions...
is pure fantasy. Considering the population of Japan that isn't that many at all.

Chickens, pigs and cows were domesticated thousands of years ago. Whales are wild and free. This is a fundamental difference.
Killing is killing whether they are domesticated or wild. It is interesting where people draw their lines. There is no fundamental difference in life and death.

Speaking to reporters in New Jersey late on Sunday, Trump said of Putin: "I've known him a long time, always gotten along with him, but he's sending rockets into cities and killing people, and I don't like it at all."
But he has no problem with Netanyahu sending American rockets into Gaza and killing thousands of men, women, children and babies. Not to mention starving them to death too.
He is clearly moraly bankrupt.

If this genocide upsets you then do something about it. Write to your political representatives and demand change. If enough people demand it, it will happen.
This is the second email that I sent to my reprsentatative,
"Thank you for your swift reply. I appreciate your engagement with this issue and your support for humanitarian access and a ceasefire.
However, I must express my continued alarm and frustration. While the UK rightly condemned Russia’s invasion of Ukraine—imposing sweeping sanctions and providing military aid—we have failed to respond with anything close to the same urgency or pressure in the case of Israel’s actions in Gaza.
What we are doing in Ukraine is working: sanctions, international isolation, and accountability. Why is this same standard not applied to Israel, which is bombing Gaza into dust, destroying homes, hospitals, and infrastructure, and displacing nearly the entire population? This is not self-defence—it is collective punishment. Many respected human rights organisations and legal scholars are calling this a genocide in progress.
The UK’s partial suspension of arms licenses is not enough. Continuing to provide F-35 components and other indirect support makes us complicit. What is needed now is:
A full arms embargo.
Targeted sanctions.
Disinvestment from companies profiting from the occupation and war.
A firm demand for an end to the siege and occupation.
Are you doing everything in your power to stop this? Will you stand firmly on the side of justice and international law? History is watching, and I sincerely hope you will be on the right side of it.
Thank you for your time and your service. I urge you to act.
Sincerely,

@Hello Kitty 321
Actually one reason why Japan is so clean is that a lot of people volunteer to spend their free time picking up other people's rubbish or sweeping the streets.
Yes, that is another reason. I acknowledged that the reason I put forward was not the only reason. That is why I used the wording, "one reason is that", indicating that there were other reasons.

I think that people taking ownership of their rubbish is brilliant. That is one reason why Japan is so clean. I have been to countries where there are lots of bins but rubbish is all over the streets. Also, the heat and humidity means it is not practicle to have bins outside.

Many people are saying we need grass but can grass survive in the heat in Japan under the constant barrage of tiny feet in the playground? A new playground was put in near me last spring. Half of it was grass. It was beautiful during that first spring then died in the summer and now it is completley dust! They had sprinklers on it in the every evening too! It required an insane amount of water and even that couldn't prevent it dying. Maybe without people playing on the grass it might have survived but if you are going to use the grass in a playground it will surely perish!

It seems that advocating for peace didn't work so well, what with Russia invading Ukraine, Israel bombing Gaza to dust and committing genocide.
