Japanese love to gamble; it's everywhere, yet the police do little or nothing. I will bet the elicit poker den also had a lot of Japanese betting.

Posted in: Trump tariffs to hit Japan's domestic auto output: industry head See in context

Tariffs do not matter, Korean cars have flooded the American market and consumers like the price point, reliability and style of these automobiles. Japan is slowly losing the American marketplace.

The entrance to the Grand Canyon in the Americas is 35.00 per car, and that pass is valid for 7 days.

¥4000 to hike up a volcano with vending machines is a rip-off, and the only reason tourists want to hike up it is because of its distant beauty. Save your money and enjoy the distant beauty, this is a much better memory and it's free.

While Mt Fuji is beautiful from a distance, Hiking up it is not worth ¥4000; you will be let down. Up close, it's one big ugly volcano.

175 attempts to damage the US military and trying to damage global commerce is a big challenge for the world. Bidens tit for tat did not work, the Trump administration will fix this trouble once and for all with a clear message. The Houthis are the bullies, not the Americans.

We live in such a negative world now, as the collective on this site dis-like change or anything to do with Trump. It seems like everything the Trump administration is doing thus far has been getting very high marks from the people which I think is refreshing.

Other countries' leaders do whatever they want not thinking or allowing their citizens to participate.

Japan are you listening?

Posted in: Japan criminalizes cannabis use as revised laws take effect See in context

Cannabis consumption does not lead to hard drugs any more than beer and wine leading to strong alcohols.

Tell that to Elton John who was just interviewed and was the least likely celebrity to tell the world what a big mistake it was to legalize cannabis in the USA and Europe due to the addictive nature of the drug. Elton John was a "pothead" and believes to this day that recreational use of the drug opened the floodgates to the harder drugs that people die from.
