as I have suggested before, Japan should irrigate the Senkaku Islands with water from the Fukushima nuclear site and start a new industry involving timber. China has complained about the water from the Fukushima plant contaminating fisheries across the Pacific. Japan should cooperate with China and dispose of this water on the Senkaku Islands.

These are only a few of the publicly disclosed infractions by Ghosn
Japanese public broadcaster NHK reported Nissan paid billions of yen to buy and renovate homes for Ghosn in Rio de Janeiro, Beirut, Paris and Amsterdam, citing unidentified sources. The properties had no business purpose and were not listed as benefits in filings to the Tokyo bourse, it said.
The Nikkei reported that Nissan - through a British Virgin Islands unit of a Dutch venture fund subsidiary - bought and renovated homes for Ghosn in Brazil and Lebanon worth around $18 million. Nissan, the report added, also paid several hundred thousand dollars for Ghosn's family vacations.
The Yomiuri, Japan's biggest-circulation daily, said Nissan had been paying Ghosn's elder sister $100,000 a year since 2002 for a non-existent advisory role. She lived in a luxury Rio de Janeiro apartment funded by a Nissan subsidiary, according to the report, which cited unidentified sources.

It’s shameful how Japan continues to cower before its big bully brothers. The US is on a path to isolationism. Russia has been dealt a serious blow with its stupid invasion of Ukraine. China is on the verge of bankruptcy and North Korea wallows in their footsteps. Japan must step up to the plate and take the high ground. It must recognize Taiwan as a free and independent country. It must also lead an alliance of Pacific nations, united in economic and military might. It is time for democratic nations in Asia to join NATO in a united front against aggression from these despotic regimes. Countries on the eastern Pacific Rim, like Canada, Mexico, and Latin America should join any United front for economic and peaceful well-being among its Pacific partners.

The bully in the kitchen has been eating more than his fair share. It is time for Asia to form its own Asian treaty organization. Let Trump pull back his forces to Guam. The US dominance in the world is receding. NATO must go on its own and so must Asia. Trump is more aligned with Russia and North Korea. He can form his own treaty alliance with his comrades in arms. He is already Putin’s mouthpiece. Trump can’t even recall who invaded who in the Ukrainian conflict. He had it completely ass backwards, which confirms he is mentally unstable. It is time for a New World order which includes a second cultural revolution in China to kick out the incompetent party bureaucrats who have no idea how to run a declining industrial economy like China’s.

Severe labor shortages will force Japanese businesses to pay women more and to fill vacancies over less competent males. Bird strike warning from tower followed by bird strike on right engine. Passenger texted that there was a bird stuck on the wing. Probably followed by right engine out, loss of hydraulics for landing gear and flaps. Pilot probably elected to land without gear down and flaps due to loss of right engine. This resulted in too much landing speed and maybe on non-active runway which might’ve been shorter than normal runway. Additional issue of impacted ground structure being too substantial and not forgiving for aircraft impact. Pure speculation at this point.

Several factors contributed to this incident. Because it was dusk the controller should’ve been attentive to the runway entry alert if he could not visually see the runway. Other crew members on the Coast Guard plane should also have been monitoring communications and would’ve warned the pilot in command about the runway incursion. A minor matter is that pilots flying in Japanese airspace for the first time might have difficulty understanding communications from the controllers who speak English with a Japanese accent, but in this case, apparently all parties were Japanese nationals who were communicating in English.

Like I mentioned before about the disposal of treated water from the same nuclear plant, the contaminated soil and the treated water should be disposed of on the Senkaku islands to start a new forestry industry. This will allay concerns over harvested seafood from north eastern Japan. It will take several years for the timber to be harvested and they will be contaminant free. It will also deter China from coveting this Archipelago. Like the old adage goes “use it or lose it“.

It’s a no-win situation for Japan. It uses scientific research as justification for a deviant cultural practice. Japan stopped feeding whale meat to it’s school children because of high mercury content. It is already looked down by environmentalists for discharging treated nuclear waste water that neighboring countries contend that it contaminates seafood products. But the underlying reason is that Japanese politicians do not want to lose the backing of the whaling industry. It is time for Japan to give it up and join the world community. It’s the right thing to do.

China’s Belt and Road venture is really an expansion of the old divide and conquer theme. It is easier to exploit its Asian neighbors when they are left to defend themselves alone. Bullies like China, Russia, North Korea, and Iran, exploit weaker nation states when they are left to fend for themselves. This is why NATO is the biggest obstacle for Russian expansionism. Including Asian nation states in the NATO alliance will mutually benefit NATO and new Asian members while bringing peace and stability to Asia

The reality of the political and military issues facing Asia is further exacerbated by the possibility that Donald Trump might be elected as president of the US. He has shown that. he will threaten to withdraw US forces from Asia, unless countries that rely on the American defense umbrella pay astronomical increases to the US for keeping its forces in Asia, accompanied with increased defense budgets for countries hosting American forces. This scenario plays into the hands of Russia, China and North Korea. This dictatorial axis will devour Asia by dividing and conquering individual states starting with the weakest and most vulnerable. Opposing this axis is a pseudo Asian NATO comprised of Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan , The Philippines, and anchored by the United States whereby an attack on
one we will be defended in part by all. By formalizing this arrangement, weaker Asian nations will feel vulnerable and left to defend themselves alone. This situation will lead individual states. to seek membership in a united defense umbrella
