Sounds like airport security did their job quite well.

Americans are sick when it comes to guns. Especially now with Trump as President. They think they rule the world. Check every single American coming here....twice. Even the Star Wars fans. Those lightsabers might be loaded.

The problem isn't the airports here in Japan. The problem is the airport in the U.S. who let them board planes with weapons.

Well, they are trying something. However, they need to block access to nuisance streamers like Jonny Somali. Nuisance streamers, pranksters, and those fake profiles that lead to OnlyFans need to be stopped.

Posted in: Infidelity for the social media age: What is microcheating, and is it a big deal? See in context

Using Social Media to embrace another person is cheating. 100% Cheating.

This other person is sending messages into your home, connecting with your so-called partner, and betraying the sanctity of your relationship simultaneously.

Women cheat differently. They have different needs. This other person is pleasing your partner and she is seeking that person out every time she picks up her phone. You can spot the signs early when she hits the close button and blacks out the screen when you walk in the room.

She also has multiple apps to reach out to her secret lover. LINE being the worse cause she can put a code on it to lock it. You'll never know.

When the physical side of the relationship does kick in, it's too late. You won't be able to reach her between 10pm and 10AM the next morning when they are checking out of the hotel.

If you are in a relationship, but she's on her phone. She's cheating. When you are at home together, you should turn your phones off. You can put signal blockers in your home to stop cellular signals from coming in. If they want to cheat, do it outside. Don't bring that dark energy into your home. It's your space.

Charges droppped! He did the right thing! He made a mistake ( big mistake ). He owned it! Was sincerely apologetic about it. I think this turned out perfectly.

Hope others take note of this. If you make a mistake, own it. It's always better coming from you than as a complaint from someone else.

I think this matter will be resolved amicably. Unfortunately, he'll take a hit for this. However, if one is genuinely apologetic about the matter, the authorities will do their job, but any repentance will be recognized with leniency. It was dumb to bring that gun, but I guess this American just assumed that the rest of the world is just like America. Gun violence is not a thing here.

Now knife violence......that's a different story.

Calm down, Japan, calm down. I do not like Trump. Never have, and never will.

However, Japan is not exactly innocent. Ford is not here, because Japan made it as difficult as possible for Ford to remain here. Many of it's flagship models and higher vehicles were not allowed in Japan.

JA - Japan Agriculture took full advantage of any, even the slightest incident of foot and mouth disease to bring meat imports from the U.S to a screeching halt. Then stacked as much bureaucracy as they possibly could in order to slow down future imports.

The rabbit hole is deeper and I could go on. With that said, you get what you give.

Always trying to portray people of color as crooks and villains. School shootings with AR15s and military grade weapons is the work of good ol fashion white boys.

What's your next accusation? Black pilots flew the Enola Gay? Oppenheimer was clearly white. It will take people of color a 1,000 years to catch up with your body count.

Carlos Ghosn is and was the hero of Nissan. It's only so convenient to not live and work in Japan and then try to deem Ghosn a criminal. Japanese companies are watching their bottom line all the time. Ghosn didn't transfer money to himself, they did. They always knew.

Let Nissan go the way of the Dodo bird. Japan doesn't need Nissan. I've never owned one and I'll never buy one. You reap what you sow.

@virusrex

Good luck to you. Pray you don't learn the hard way.

For every man with a sob story about adultery, there was someone nearby he could have simply asked.

But here's some speculation that you may truly enjoy. There's a bunch of women laughing at a white knight dying on his own sword.

*sips tea Not really my concern should you choose not to believe or doubt everything.

If you're having girl problems I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but cheating ain't one.

Posted in: What is the cheating culture in Japan really like? See in context

Hearsay is not enough to be able to claim this, the article gives a very clear example with the well reported case of the Miss Japan winner that was forced to resign her crown for dating a married man, meanwhile there was no apparent social punishment for the man. Women are routinely being sued for adultery as well, the excuses do not automatically eliminate consequences for the women.

Hearsay?

1) The numbers I posted came from the original post. Click the "Read More" link at the bottom of the article. Yes, that one that you probably didn't click on.

2) My friends are lawyers here in Japan. I get my information from the source.

3) I've supported my friends who have suffered the worse. Google: Left Behind Parents Japan. There's so much content and most of the "factual" stories there will make you lose your appetite.

4) I've got over 30+ years living here in Japan. I've seen the transients come and go. I've been there to help them move out and find new places when their cheating wives did them HELLA DIRTY.

5) I'm not without my own personal stories. I was just smart enough not to go down to the ward office and sign my life away.

Listen, I'm not mad at the women for doing what they want to do. I'm not even mad at you for having a difference of opinion. You can dissect what I have to say till the cows come home. However, I am telling you that I know what I know. Not everything we read is true, especially in this century. I'll tell you this though. For women, the battle is always perception and narrative. When they walk into that Family Court, telling the judge how much of a victim they are, with the crocodile tears pouring out of those cute Manga-Mei eyes, they are there to win and their cheating is often excused.

It would be behove you to stop to being a white knight for a princess that sneaks out of the castle at night. Women know who they can finesse like sharks can smell blood in the water.

@virusrex There are many intangibles in life. Things like the pain you feel when someone cheats on you. Anyone can dismiss the idea that you are in pain. However, we are all human and admit that someone is hurting.

Any survey or the conclusions can be dismissed. We are seeking honest dialogue here. There are plenty of women who would honestly admit they cheated, but buried that bone 6 feet deep. And the truth is....it's our fault as men. We shamed them. A high body count = shaming.

Get a couple of glasses of wine in a woman plus a healthy dose of trust and they'll start sharing the truth. They do it with each other while you are at work all the time.

However, being respectful, you are more than welcome to live in your reality. But if you think for one second, that your darling hasn't done any cheating, then I want you to bet your paycheck. Give me a dollar for every fool that thinks their woman, their angel, their sweet innocent-looking woman, doesn't have a bone buried in the backyard, I know I'll be a rich man.

Posted in: What is the cheating culture in Japan really like? See in context

Cheating is more rampant among women. Mainly due to the fact that their form of cheating goes beyond just physical intimacy. One compliment a day, keeps the cheating away. An eye glance, an open door, or even a smile towards a woman satisfies her self-esteem. No more is needed at that point which is why they rarely get to the stage of physical cheating. READ ON!

One study found that just under 20% of married people in Japan admitted to cheating on a partner, though there is quite a gender gap: 40% of married men and less than 20% of married women admitted to having extramarital affairs.

The key word here is "admit". Women are 10x times more secretive than men. They calculate plans more than men do. Their actions are direct and purposeful. Men, on the other hand, are just sloppy, but the evidence of affairs is there and easy to find because.....they simply can't communicate or dare not communicate their desires to their partner due to fear of rejection.

We want to say that cheating is unethical and immoral, but when are we going to ADMIT that sexless marriages are unethical, immoral, and I'll include not healthy. Unfortunately, marriage here in Japan is contractual and these men are being held hostage. Make joint custody a thing and all of these things go away.

Japanese men or men in general living here have the deck stacked against them. God forbid you end up in a sexless marriage. LEAVE! GET OUT! STOP WORKING! No man should be going to work every day, paying the mortgage, and not get any love at night. Leave her! Blow it all up! You'll be no worse off than you were in that hostage situation.

Seems like a setup to me. How close did the convenience store clerk get to the man that the man felt he had to push him away? 3yen? All of this over 3 yen? Nah, I'm not buying it.

I would pay for his bag if I ever saw such a situation. It's 3 yen! I'm more willing to believe that this store clerk rushed this man, probably grabbed his arm or garment.

Now if you tell me that the British man was intoxicated that sounds much more believable. Normal people don't lose their cool over 3 yen. But an inebriated individual is not of sound mind and then the worse happens.

Hope they had video cameras outside to capture the incident. This story or article is definitely incomplete.

This is a really bad idea. Nissan is a dirty company. #RememberGhosn. Furthermore, they need to do research about Nissan and JATCO, JATCO being the maker of their quick to fail CVTs. *Car guy here.

Honda's quality is definitely higher than Nissan. It's not model specific either. Honda is literally better across it's entire range of products. This merger will be a win for Nissan and not so much for Honda. My only guess is Honda is going after Nissan's production facilities.

STILL, this is a bad idea. We all saw what Nissan did to Renault. Mazda would have been a better partnership. Mazda has no interest in being BIGGER! They just make good cars.

Oh well...they'll never see these posts anyway. Not selling my current Hondas. They'll hold their value cause no one will buy a Nissan-built Honda.
