China needs to get over it. Japan tends to get anyone who works here more then 3 months upset and unfavorably. Get over it’s. It’s a Japanese past time to tick people off who want to come here.

I’ve been seeming women and men wear skin tight spandex in public (mostly foreigners) and frankly they are xxl or bigger which spandex shouldn’t be, but anyway what’s the difference. Seems like the girl or anyone behind him needs to ignore him don’t can’t get off by it. Ignoring someone is the biggest turn off.

So Japanese have no trouble handing over their tax records and data to the reception of any medical or pharmacy who can read the data? Seems very very strange. Japan went from privacy to state control in less than 10 years.

Posted in: 30% of tourists to Japan experienced overtourism problems in 2024 See in context
I witnessed Japanese people littering every day. They’re called smokers and discard their cigarette buds on the street wherever they go. Ignoring the signs even when they say don’t walk and smoke. Foreigners I think get upset way more with the Japanese people‘s mentality for non-customization. As for littering, it’s probably from frustration of not having any rubbish bins provided anywhere in this country. They say it’s for security, but I frankly think it’s because they’re too lazy to clean up and have a central location to discard waste. There seems to be a lot of tourist bashing going on and trying to manipulate situations that could be avoided with traditional friendly behavior. It’s very accusatory now and very aggressive with many of the Japanese. I witness that deal with tourists especially in shinjuku and ueno.

Indonesia is so greedy it’s beyond believe. I lived there 5 years and the treatment foreigners get vs local is amazing in business. Had someone actually say once this price for you is this and this price for local is that and mine was double. Frankly speaking Apple should stop worrying about Indonesia. Most of the people there have no ability to buy an iPhone and frankly speaking never will. And as for the government clearly they didn’t pay enough to someone’s reelection campaign or assist with purchases of something to the right people.

their coffee is horrible. Made with inferior blend of beans and charge a premium price. McDonald’s actual coffee is premium. And for those who don’t drink coffee or anything with caffeine (caffeine which is nearly impossible unless you just drink water) why go to a coffee shop? Get a bottle of water. Lol

Oh come on and stop monkeying around. The police have I’m sure spent 500 plus working hours including overnight stake outs and attempts to interview the witnesses with the help of various translator applications to come to indict him for stealing some vegetables and fruits. Sadly the criminal didn’t take the hint and walk out the back door when they came to arrest him as previously reports cops there have issues with securing all the exits doors and windows and people can just get away by not using the front door. Anyway it’s sad when you need to steal food to eat. Japan taxes food from supermarkets which I still find insane. The who story is bananas.

What do you expect when salaries are lower now than 25 years ago. You get what you pay for. Dispatch companies focus on finding people willing to do nothing but be the token foreigner. In fact that is all they expect. Japanese English teachers often still expect to teach “this is a pen” as they did 30 years ago. Basic 2 and 3 letter words for Japanese like Yes and no or Thsnk you are as far from in their knowledge base as the geometry and advanced physics are for most other people. On the flip side Japan wants to attract talent for the work force and yet demand N2 or N1 for jobs that are not translators but other fields. Sadly having real talent choose other places that are much more welcoming. Communication is more than some basic phrases and is in part overall health of an international economy.
