Posted in: Japan’s most popular curry rice restaurant chain losing customers as it raises prices See in context

Their margin is way too high. They hire foreigners mostly in tokyo at low wages pay nothing in benefits and even before their price hike they were expensive. Now it’s just ridiculous. Any excuse to raise prices. Their margin is amazing for what you get.

When so many people do it, goverments sadly still think they can control it. The internet is free at least for now. These old government t people have nothing to do. Guys simple tax winnings. It’s almost like the Japanese are crazy seventh day adventists who knock on your door instead of just let people be an do what they want when they aren’t hurting or disturbing anyone. It’s all nonsense. Pachinko okay others not. It’s ridiculous.

Posted in: Japan, S Korea open tourist fast-track entry system at 4 airports See in context

If they just upgraded their system to the 21st century we don’t need people doing this job with anyone who has a bio chip on their passport. All the data is there. It’s sad to see them still using the old systems that are not secure as the actual modern passports are.

Posted in: Nagoya pays people to stand on escalators for six hours a day See in context

People in tokyo clicking on the escalator often bump into others and frankly speaking people make a line on the left instead of using the entire machine. It’s much better everyone stand. It uses space better and doesn’t cause the jam. Sheen you only use ½ of the devise it’s ridiculous. People in a rush need to learn to leave earlier and or use the steps.

And the customer had no responsibility? Aren’t there other clubs that get you to go in and then charge you thousands and extort you into paying. What about just clean up the industry and allow police to actually assist customers. Now they get away with it befsuse it’s a civil issue. Police know it’s going on but can’t do anything about it. How about the solving ti shut down the club immediately while investigations are done and multiple complaints get suspension of their company assets. Anyway it’s all for show. Nothing will change. To much under the table money moving around.

Posted in: New Okinawa theme park aims to tap tourism boom, become springboard to Asian markets See in context

Sadly Okinawa is just to expensive. Flights are ridiculous most of the time and hotel accommodations are older and over priced. Not an affordable holiday at all. Can go to Phuket or Bali and stay in 5 star places for the same price. Theme park is just going to increase prices there even more.

that person should also be arrested. You don’t stop. You move over to the left or right and get out of the way. The driver who stopped was not paying attention.

Posted in: Japanese gov't considering more restrictions on foreign driver’s license conversions See in context

such a simple fix but yet once again, the government makes it difficult. It’s pure common sense. If you don’t have a valid residency within the country, you want drivers license you can’t get one. I’ve never heard of such a thing. The only places that allow you to get a drivers license and not have a resident or mostly Third World countries like Indonesia where you just pay for the drivers license you don’t even have to take a test. It’s just a money scam. I can’t believe Japan allows that to happen here and no one here ever thought of it? I mean, no one working in the driver‘s office didn’t think hey this is kind of strange? It shows the robotic nature of the Japanese Society right now. Or they just thought money is money I for what I’m clueless on why they would allow it.

How about making a minimum 350,000 yen a month salary requirement to ensure everyone working has enough funds to live and save so that they don’t cause problems. Or is this just an attempt to get near slave wages and working poor in Japan by its neighbors?

Posted in: Over-the-counter drugs to be available at convenience stores in Japan See in context

Most over the counter drugs and heck even prescription ones are so weak. And most over the counter are worthless. My diabetic medicine with insurance is the same price as Indonesia without insurance. That’s prescription. And the allowed amount is significantly lower here. For example ozempix they only want to give you 1mg a week where the recommended dose is 2mg. It’s that way for everything. Allowing junk semi-drugs in the store is worthless. Pay even more now for them.

and first comment make aspirin legal. It is. Just ridiculously expensive.
