Everyone will dust off their pitchforks to crucify the mother and I don't blame them and whatever happens in life, you have the responsibility to take care of your children. Killing them goes against nature itself! That being said: This is a societal problem...
Imagine having no support, the husband is a company slave for 14 hours a day, no one to talk to, no one to say that you're doing alright (or not). Just total isolation... That is reality for many, many Japanese...
In my case I was the one who took care of the children, while my wife was doing an elite job.
I managed and my kids are awesome, but: It... was... hard..!
