The Dump has one orientation - they wronged us - let's make a better deal for us and worse for you. It's that simple a strategy and of some reason, perhaps readable in former agreements of different kinds, many nations are afraid of standing up to the bully. It's time to disconnect the US. Stop agreeing to idiotic deals. I think everyone knows that Trump is doing these things on a crowd pleasing base. That means in two or three years he is coming back with more of the same. Better to create new networks and trade alliances that doesn't suffer from, well lets put it mildly, a loose cannon.

It seems the number of idiots that lack understanding for cultural values is on the rise. Why, lazy parents, sloppy education, mental illness, who knows? Japan should put a very serious punishment on each and every one of these purps. Serious enough so that media will make it headlines in their home country. Why not 3 years in prison and a fine of 100000 US. I think that would make this purp think twice next time.

The typical rudeness of Chinas officials can be found in the statements. They usually build their complaints on "thou shall behave like this or this". A simpler and way, way more polite expression would be to change the statement to a question: What have we done that makes you speak like that about our country? Please state your opinions with a reasonable context and we shall look into it. Together we can work for a better future.
Somehow polite phrases don't fit well with Chinas self image. Somehow they think of them selves as some sort of divine country with a mandate from heaven. Sorry China the mongols took your mandate and chewed it up.

I think the correct phrase China should use is: We have been fooled by our government to harass all our neighbors and we apologize in the sincerest manner possible. We will immediately withdraw all our boats and stop using drugs and fantasies to create an alternative world in which China is the center of the universe. All islands in South China Sea will be demilitarized within six months.

Here we go again. Stupid Chinese sailors think that they can sneak escalate to scare Japan to back off.
How about the Chinese side use these words to themselves. "We advise the Japanese side to be prudent in its words and actions, to reflect on itself and to stop provocations".
Everyone now that the Chinese claims of land and water are bogus or rather a test to see how weak others are. So far Japan has stod up and Philippines are doing their best against the imperialistic bully. Sooner or later there is going to have to be a sinking party put on the Chinese navy and coast guard. The positions today are organized so that any talk of peace will strengthen one side, China. China and Russia are using the same strategy based on the experience of a peaceful UN and west. Wake up people the world has changed by the hands of calculating players and everyone needs to prepare for the game at hand and future games.

I don't think anyone can deny what the aim of the Chinese government is anymore. Behind the Chinese thin rhetorics about everyone else being and doing wrong it is clear as day that it is imperialism that drives the machine. Like Russia it is all about trying to become a world dominator. What other nations think is not a concern of China because they are big and strong as they stated the other week.
The concern for tomorrow is not what Japan did 80 years ago. It is what today's imperialists are doing against freedom and democracy and the inevitable war that follows.

It's probably a good thing that someone puts the agenda in the media regularly. China wants and needs quietness around all of its appropriation efforts. The Chinese message for the future is clear: We take what we want and any opposition to that is bad and inappropriate behavior directed by the US. An interesting question is if no one opposed - where would it stop? Hawaii? Mexico? Turkey? The time for peace has past and it is all about confrontation in the future.

The day when US stops supporting smaller nations in the east Asia and pacific is the day when Chinese influence will start raising towards hegemony and full control. The same type of control you see inside China today will be applied on all that are "allied" with China. There is no space for real freedom or democracy in or together with China. But they will try to describe it as freedom and democracy.

Large scale and rapid change followed by a sense of not understanding and loss of control always encourage less attractive sides in the human psyche. I mean in a general population. However nowadays most people in the west and several other areas have education which in terms of knowledge and modus operandi helps to process emotions so they can be understood in a rational way. Unfortunately it has become ever clearer that an offered education is not the same as a received education in many countries, the US first and foremost, at least since Trump started to dig in to peoples discontent.
In a functioning democracy there are always fascists groups and that is perfectly normal, some may say even a necessity. Deviations are simply necessary for a sustainable normality with creativity and stability. The problem arises when the normality of the political system advances without bringing the people with it, springing discontent. Discontent has been fertile soil for all kinds of political worms and it may be interpreted as a reminder to the political system that it needs to slow down, connect with the people again and explain what is going on. Authoritarians and fascists can become very dangerous if a democratic system let them continue to play the system against itself. Democracy needs mechanisms to defend itself without becoming what they are defending themselves against. Both the US and Europes systems has been slapped in the face with a glove - now what are we going to do about it?

Posted in: Japan sees China's military buildup as serious concern See in context
I trust Japan to either buy or manufacture what they need in order to become "bad news" for China. They have a skilled navy and they are getting new capabilities. However the population has been shaped into peace orientation for a long time and needs a wake up call. Freedom comes with a cost and you better prepare to pay that bill and fight if need be.
Anyway it would be nice if Chinas government stopped their stupid long games and tried to do something good for the world. Chinas limitless support for an innocent country like Ukraine under attack by an aggressor spoke loudly on how important China is on the global stage. Feel free to read in a hint of irony.

Please stay on topic. The US attack on Iraq was based on false information. Iraq and Syria are not under occupation by US, perhaps by Iran.
The behavior of China cannot be explained by anything but imperialistic ambition. It's that simple. Just look at the latest pictures from Chinas navy bullying Philippines boats.
Perhaps China and Russia have the same mentality - a hundreds of years old one.

It is perplexing that China keeps going with the same rhetorics decade after decade. Chinese government talk and text is cheap at best. What really counts as a predictor is their recent actions.
Occupying sea with a made up fantasy border like the 9 dash line = imperialistic ambitions.
Stirring up border issues with Japan, Taiwan and India = imperialistic ambitions.
Trying to push out neighboring countries from their own bases like Vietnam and Philippines = imperialistic.
The fact that they are increasing the military budget with staggering numbers every year is a direct correlate to the above mentioned actions = imperialistic ambitions. A big military is not developed and trained to be a shelf product. In Chinas case it is most certainly meant to be a tool for increased bullying, forcing smaller nations to tributary status. As sad as it sounds it means Japan must increase capabilities of all sorts. US cannot be counted on. Ukraine has been clear reminder how a group of intellectually challenged politicians can disrupt the whole US foreign policy.
