President Donald Trump has tried to reason, every level with Putin

Seriously, no.

What Trump did was not reason, it was being made a fool by kissing up to Putin, and only believing what he wanted, to build up his own narrative of a war ending day one.

If MAGA cannot see this undeniable fact being shown by the foolish words of Trump, the war did not end day one due to his wonderful power over Putin. Try to spin that one, or not, if a bunch of silly words are forthcoming.

It's July. As Trump pumped his tires, Putin's feeling good. He further bombs Kiev, and has no intention for peace. Many of us knew this as a certainty. MAGA? They believe everything running from Trump's dumb mouth.

Trump's thinking why is Vladimir not under the MAGA cult of my tremendous power? Why is not listening to my reason? Answer is it isn't close to reason, but he not understanding critical type thinking being based on truth and observations leads to his lies and is quite obviously detrimental to doing the right thing.

Blank out, lie, obfuscate, be unhinged Trump, and talk. Your incredibly gullible echo chamber will always make MAGA believe you, but sorry, dude, Putin is way smarter and tougher than them. Putin has been condescending toward you, you're just too dumb to realize.

It was more than likely, when he first met you, he immediately turned to his staff and said, 'I can use this idiot".

Putin played Trump, as always, and it was easy to see, except for the stubborn and blind followers of MAGA.

Trump was so foolish, he actually believed the war would end day one, speaking with his buddy, Vladimir.

What power, Donald! You are truly the best leader to control Putin to peace! Not.

Just a dumb puppet who doesn’t have the capacity to face truths, only building narratives, which fail miserably, while being used.

Believe it, leaders around the world know what an idiot Trump is.

Putin obviously condescending from the start with Trump and MAGA believes Trump will end the war on day one. Silly as it gets.

Can already predict some blaming the protests for the shooting over the reality that democracy is being dissed by this administration, leading to action, not by actors and paid people(another false lie Trump has been spreading thru his echo chamber), it is by regular Americans who cherish the country's constitution and past ways of trying to be a fair, intelligent and law biding nation for all.

Don't twist the blame Donald, it's very much on MAGA's ideology of authoritarian rule and cultish ways, leading to insurrection of the capitol, of which you approved and pardoned many, leading your crazier types to plan manifestos to use guns to kill.

“I just feel like we need to defend our democracy,” she said. She is concerned about the Trump administration’s layoffs of staff at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the fate of immigrant communities and the Trump administration trying to rule by executive order, she said.

A woman wearing a foam Statue of Liberty crown brought a speaker system and led an anti-Trump sing-along, changing the words “young man” in the song “Y.M.C.A.” to “con man.”

One man in Revolutionary War era garb and a tricorn hat held a sign with a quote often attributed to Thomas Jefferson: “All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.”

Authoritarian rule and military exacerbation of protests in LA have proven this president is not about peace and goodwill, he has shown a penchant to be a king wannabe. In fact, his actions demand countering and protest is not only a good way to say Trump is wrong, it is necessary to keep democracy in the USA.

The killings of Melissa Hortman, a former assembly speaker and her husband, Mark, prompted reactions of shock and horror from Republican and Democratic politicians across the country and calls for dialing back increasingly divisive political rhetoric.

Anyone who's read the many comments of liberal hate around here isn't surprised something like this shooting has occurred. All it takes is guns and hate taken a step too far, as a manifesto targeting democrats plans out and executes a killing.

In one of his first moves in office earlier this year, Trump pardoned nearly everyone criminally charged with participating in the January 6, 2021, Capitol attack, a move critics said signaled support for the rioters.

"The incendiary rhetoric, hate, and violence must stop," Republican Representative Dan Meuser of Pennsylvania said on X, calling it a "tragic, ruthless, cold-blooded shooting of innocent public servants in Minnesota."

To stop the incendiary rhetoric, hate and violence, the individual on top, Trump, must quit his liberal hate narrative lies and become a fair leader. He often fans the fire to rile up his crazies, and one can be assured this killer in Minnesota was a staunch supporter of this administration.

"Such horrific violence will not be tolerated in the United States of America. God Bless the great people of Minnesota, a truly great place!" Trump said in a statement.

Uh huh. Sure Donald, secretly, I doubt you actually care, based on your past actions and incendiary words flaming the divisive nature of liberal hate you and your echo chamber have provided.

Minnesota State Patrol chief Col. Christina Bogojevic told reporters that police found flyers in the suspect's vehicle with "No Kings" printed on them, but said police had no direct links to the nationwide "No Kings" protests against President Donald Trump's policies taking place on Saturday.

Of course, this person was not for 'no kings', it was pissing him off and giving him reason to build a manifesto against democrats. and people who were known pro choice and abortion providers. He dressed as a policeman and executed his plan by killing two and leaving two children, shockingly with dead parents.

In essence, Trump currys favor by keeping jobs in US steel, but chickens out on winning the deal, as Japan controls the steel industry, and security issues are so fluid, Japan chuckles at the orange dummy.

Japan Steel can profit as it wishes. It has power over Trump's steel deal. It certainly doesn't make America greater, it, like all of Trump's international dealings, is a failure, as US steel is now a puppet industry for Japan.

It's his usual lost art of the deal in a short sighted narrative where Trump will claim victory and his MAGA will fall for it, hook, line and sinker.

Posted in: Foreign tourists outnumber Japanese ones at Kyoto hotels for first time ever See in context

Yen is low, pay in Japan is crap. A minimum wage level of 3000 yen or more happens in other countries.

It allows for a minimum wage individual to take trips to a cheaper fare than vacationing in their own country, even with airfare. And they can afford it. So, tons of tourists in Japan. Few Japanese tourists abroad, or even domestically, because pay is so low, and the Japanese are convinced working hard for a third of the pay abroad is nothing to complain about.

Japanese minimum wage workers...1100 yen... unaffordable travel as they do not make enough money to go to Kyoto, much less abroad, and airline tickets are going to be expensive because demand is low due to all of the above.

It'd take two months pay to take a trip to the USA, while it takes about 2 weeks pay in the USA to do the same to Japan.

The weak yen is not going up anytime soon, either. At relative .7 value to the dollar, the Yen has no buying power, so economics say, the rich come to and buy in Japan, the poor don't go nor buy abroad.

Plus, the Japanese youth are not interested in other countries to travel because they lack an adventurous spirit, and only care to 'Nippon dayou, Nippon'.

Since the Japanese believe the low pay rate is literally nothing to scream about, the one way vacation is not going to change anytime soon.

Human beings never learn the consequence of war and killing each other. The earth itself is the collateral damage, especially with those who believe the earth will go on till they die, so who cares what happens in the future.

Clearly the problem of war is increasing as each country follows the US lead of nationalistic action, for its own sake, and foregoing true diplomacy and respect.

It seemed a more enlightened, caring and peaceful humanity was once a possibility, but now, it's reversed itself to 1984. Orwell's 1984. Doublethink is all about alternative facts, or lies, of which MAGA often believes and uses for its own self interest.

Putin knew an America that elects a Trump would understand why he unilaterally attacked Ukraine, and would see many favor this action, because he could manipulate MAGA so easily.

Israel, same thing. Countries worldwide are taking the low road because they know the low road is easily accessed thru a less caring and dumber USA, led by an elected individual supported by a mass of uneducated and non sensical voters whom take the authoritarian viewpoint, every time.

It's such a wash that they will see an Israel manipulate the puppet USA, and the rest of the world will continue to follow, as the ridiculous state of pseudo democracy by MAGA continues on. Being used and so egotistical, USA cannot figure it out. MAGA actually thinks they're controlling things, still, with so much proof saying the opposite.

Trump will go down as the dumbest president ever, the puppet of all puppets.

You’re encouraging military action for 1400 protests? Yes, you are.

A point of view that will lead to a war of the people vs. Donald Trump. America can only take so much before every state in the union realizes his are fascist decisions of ignorance and stupidity.

You hate California? You hate anything liberal and thus you hate a great portion of America, so I suppose you’d like to see more military action lead to further polarizing the nation and fighting all people protesting.

Not a thought of patriotism, unless you believe it to be random bullying or people that ultimately divides America completely, a country not of democracy but a king wannabe.

When anarchy is led by the president and he takes on dictatorial actions, the country will protest and if that president calls for a military to combat its own citizens, it’s the start of escalation leading to more protests and ultimately a death will occur, and then it will quite possibly blow up to a full scale war of Trump vs American citizens who care of the constitution and law. Not his lies and false narratives.

No real surprise by anything people in this 'administration' does. As shown by the many problematic decisions being made, America is now run as less a democracy and more an autocracy as a fascist state.

The supporters sound exactly like the supporters of Hitler pre WW2. False narrative is obviously dangerous, and RFK, jr., a non believer in intellectual research and truth, being named health secretary would destroy better health care and anything related to it in America.

MAGA is inviting any country with saner views to catch and pass the US in research and technology, which is dependent on understanding the educational process and the desire to find truths. Because MAGA is all about narrative and lies, it most certainly destroys America's reputation as being a world leader in schools and education.

The uneducated will follow RFK's words and firings as a good thing, and nothing is more blatantly seen as false. Of all the dictatorial type decisions made by this administration, this one could well hurt America the worst, as health problems can and will increase as a consequence of the brain drain of top health officials, but perhaps more importantly, a lack of empathy and care from the government forcing difficulty of the American people ultimately getting proper health care.

Unequivocally, people who made it to the top of research and studies, who's intelligence is real, are there because they are dedicated to finding solutions and scientifically understand many things MAGA doesn't and incapable of having a clue.

Ignorance really isn't the bliss they think it is.

what a leftist dilemma.

Just so MAGA to write this. It isn't a leftist problem, it's a MAGA one.

It's hypocrisy on reality tv for Trump. He is the tongue wagging entity to Musk's supremacy, the dollar.

Musk is the flip side of the Trump coin, except that he, not MAGA, owns the coin.

MAGA's true hero is Musk, and he's just one of many too flaky people who end up close to Trump. His personality is such that he'll never be admired from the masses, but for Trump, he's the epitome of the genius businessman.

The gas oil salesman 47 grifted Musk to pay for his election. How dumb Musk. What's with conservatism and being so dumb. He may be a genius, but lacks true sensibility and because like Trump, he lacks empathy, his read on people is wrong, making both of them stupid people.

He felt he could control Trump and be the defacto president, by paying his way into the WH. He knew how stupid Trump is, and wanted to manipulate him.

Musk's intelligent, but he's not smart. A social moron. Trump is just moron. He isn't intelligent. He isn't smart. He is a presence Musk is not, and his persona, dictatorial narrative and lies in his echo chamber, fools his cult.

Now that they're fighting, it's a war of petulance. Just switch the playground for the White House, and it's a joke of juvenile delinquents.

So, no, not a leftist dilemma. We grab the popcorn, sit back, and watch the comedic bickering of fric and frac.

Well, I flat out disagree. Cera is a goofball comic, at best. At worst, he's not actually funny, just looks kinda stupid on film. A complete opposite of, say, a Bill Murray, who is a long time participant in Anderson films.

Posted in: Judge blocks Trump ban on Harvard's international students See in context

I strongly feel that their can no exceptions from the fundamental principle of rule by democratically elected government from the ballot box, not from political motivated activist Judges from the bench.

I have to admit, being out of the country and living as an ex-pat in Japan, the wtf vote is the reason Trump is in office, but highly question why this happened.

My answer is that many Americans are not highly educated. There's a lack of smarts to acquire information and of sensibility to understand why Trump is a foolish choice. The fact his voters do not speak or write with critical thinking, a thing that requires true information, of which MAGA has no use for in its narrative and lies, its base is stupidity.

Mix that in with simple American arrogance, brought on by the culture of me first, and white man bias, and you have a combination to elect an idiot.

So while MAGA doesn't think Trump is dangerous, he is. He's on a Hitler level, who, btw, also got elected, by a similar following to MAGA, as the supreme leader. This is not to say Trump is Hitler, he's a bit less into genocide, but his lack of empathy, sociopathic actions, and one man control, does have parallels. Trump has never met Hitler, but by his actions and words, he's a lot closer to Hitler than Obama.

So, in what can still be a fair minded America, the courts have no choice, but to try to reverse uncontrolled power by a president, who's making very poor decisions. Brain drain is dangerous, as is the attempt to lower higher education, the highest overall university level worldwide, in the United States of America.

It isn't just Harvard. But once the top is brought down to a lower level, the dominoes will fall, and ignorance will have won out. Awareness is not a trait of MAGA, ignorance is, and it ignores facts and science, because MAGA refuses to believe anything other than a false narrative.

So all of MAGA loves the lies, the echo chamber and the wrong narrative. The voters are the disease, Trump is only a symptom, and in a country split by good and MAGA bad, the courts are necessarily stepping up to an incredibly terrible president.

So they attack one of the world’s great learning institutes by attacking…get this…smart people from abroad.

This is MAGA’s paranoia and small minded solutions to their racism and lack of diverse acceptance.

No country dissing free world trade for tariffs will ever be trusted. America has set itself on an island of narcissism. so Japan and other 'allies' will have to set up relations that are 'official', instead of having free avenues of discourse. A lack of American diplomacy and unilateral acts will do that.

Every meeting, every little thing will no longer will have freedom, it is qualified by an American attitude of self interest and only self interest. Nationalism is the answer for many conservative types worldwide, but it harms countries and relations, even one as strong as Japan's with the USA.

What the USA...ieMAGA... misses is, they aren't being taken advantage of...free trade means a richer nation buys from poorer nations, and the USA gets products. They can buy things from other nations and paying for goods is business, it isn't the seller taking advantage of a trade deficit.

Both sides win with free trade. Both sides lose with massive tariffs. Trust is being lost and more and more so, each day, it seems, with the USA.

Since at least 2011, He was truly insulting to Islam, and believers in the Koran. It was his usual pathetic ignorance and bias showing foolish lack of manner and spewing really stupid words a caring and mature individual would not express.

These past few days he was among Kings and Princes and entitled leaders. They are his heros. You can see how he relishes their positions in their countries as birthright and unilateral decision makers...ie, dictator types...MAGA wants what? It wasn't about America being the greatest whatever, it was kissing feet by the American president.

He loves Bin Salman, who had American Khashoggi killed. The bribe tour went as planned, as gifts by leaders can control a giddy puppet 47.

Pathetic as it is, the United States is now MAGA bribable. The Qatar plane gift was just a start. From Putin to Bin Salman to Xi, they are enjoying this president, as they all realize the integrity of the office of the President of the United States is compromised to the point it weakens the resolve of America, and contrary to MAGA and their followers beliefs, it is 100% detrimental to the idea of America First.

America First was a thing, as the world looked to America as the fair minded country that tried to do good things for people. There is no more conscience with Trump. They all know he's a useable fool, and the respect of the United States has dropped considerably world wide and finally within the United States, as we see his numbers drop, consistently, when he is office.

This trip to the middle east is very telling as we see his nepotistic side now mixing business interests like Qatar, with his presidency. It's just typical ignorant America, at this point.
