I can't think of any other viable solution to end the religion-based conflict between Palestine and Israel. Anything that helps to end the decades of terrorism and brings about peace should be welcomed.
Either the muslims have to be shipped out, or the jews have to be shipped out. Otherwise, peace is just wishful thinking. We all know this to be sadly true, but you're not supposed to mention it (religious incompatibility) for some odd reason.

I think it's "in principle" it's a good idea. Ship them all out.
There has never been, and there will never be, peace in Gaza / Israel.
The problem is incompatible religion. It's like trying to mix oil and water, and it will never happen. Fact.

So, what do you call it when record number of businesses go bankrupt because they can't find people to work?
When you can't afford to pay a decent living wage to attract staff. I'd call the business "poorly managed", and/or a "poor business model with little or no profit margins".
There is no labour shortage in Japan. Just a shortage of well-managed and/or good businesses offering employment. Nobody wants to work for peanuts.

There isn’t a labor shortage. But... There is a massive shortage of jobs that pay enough for people to live on... That's why you can't get Watanabe-san to work for you. Who wants to earn 850 per hour in 2025? It should be 1,500 per hour as a minimum.

I'm a victim of "taxation violence". 'They' take it from me without showing where or how it is used (zero accountability). But I have to show evidence of everything I make and spend so 'they' can take as much tax from me as possible. Isn't that also an abusive relationship?

Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako, along with Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and 4,023 people related to those killed attended the government-sponsored ceremony to mourn the roughly 3.1 million Japanese military personnel and civilians who died in the war.
I hope they mourned these innocent people too:
The Japanese murdered 30 million civilians while "liberating" what it called the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere from colonial rule. About 23 million of these were ethnic Chinese. It is a crime that in sheer numbers is far greater than the Nazi Holocaust. In Germany, Holocaust denial is a crime. In Japan, it is government policy. But the evidence against the navy – precious little of which you will find in Japan itself – is damning.

People in Japan are well known for their kindness
That is a typical outsider view. They only see how staff are paid to 'act' in front of customers.
Those who have lived here for long enough know this is true
People in Japan are well known for their 'fake / robotic' kindness
In my 24 year experience of living and working in Japan
Most Japanese are cautiously friendly (to strangers). But they would much prefer to be left alone and not bothered.
Most Japanese do not donate to charities and/or volunteer.
Other than that, most Japanese are just like every nation. Some are nice when you get to know them, some are miserable even after you get to know them :)

Listen, Japanese is a nationality. Not a race. Asian is a race.

How many times do we have to answer this simple fact...
"Japanese" is a nationality, not a race.
Therefore, anyone who qualifies as a Japanese citizen / Japanese passport holder is Japanese.
It makes no difference where they were born or their skin color.
Accept it, it's a fact.

The proposal also suggests the introduction of a mandatory child support payment scheme and the provision of better legal mechanisms for seizing assets in certain cases.
IMHO if there's no joint custody (one parent cut off from a relationship with their child) then there should be no mandatory child support payment.

Posted in: 72% of foreigners in survey say they’ve been disappointed by bad breath in Japan See in context
The most common type of bad breath in Japan is the rotten kind. The type that can strip off paint or instantly kill flowers if blown on at short range. It has nothing to do with what they just ate or drank...
The main culprit is gum persistent disease. The cause is poor oral hygiene (especially lack of flossing). The result is constant decaying (rotting) food trapped between their teeth. It causes massive colonies of bacteria to thrive. Which in return causes the warm almost vomit inducing breath. It you've experienced it (probably if you live in Japan) you know the exact type of breath i'm referring too. Nasty business.
