Nakajima said many foreign business owners in Akakura have refused to join the local tourism association. One consequence is a lot of broken rules on the part of businesses and tourists that range from not disposing of garbage properly, to overparking to late-night fireworks.
"We have no idea who they are and what they're doing. They just come in December and disappear when spring comes," he said. Nakajima recently started approaching foreign businesses to offer lectures on the town's rules.
Blame the people who sold out to these foreigners without having a talk with the locals first. They should have made it compulsory for the foreigners to consult the locals before taking any decision.

Chinese are buying land up in Japan.
Lots of articles in certain media about that. Then again that is a world wide phenomena, not so different from what Japanese were doing during the bubble either. Comes in waves.
The difference is that the china-nese are buying property near key military or strategic locations......just what you'd expect from faithful servants of the Party.
I also question HOW the money to buy the property came about. Money Laundering of black money?

oldman_13 Today 12:24 am JST
Japan is the low hanging fruit for 'activists' like Watson. He took full advantage of the world's inherent bias against Japan especially when it comes to things like animal rights. As someone else mentioned, Watson and his cronies aren't as brave when it comes to confronting whalers from Nordic countries, they wouldn't stand for harassment from activist types.
Agreed. You said it perfectly!
They don't even have the guts to take on the china-nese dog-meat festivals where even little puppies are beaten, skinned alive and roasted over a fire. (Yes, there are pictures and videos of these online).
Or to take on the china-nese penchant for eating bats, turtles, etc. They're also not doing anything about the chinese ( and other east Asian countries) ivory trade for which elephants and rhinos are murdered for their horns and tusks.
Some Nordic countries even have "festivals" where whales are cornered into a cove and then slaughtered alive while the entire sea turns red with blood. Even children are encouraged to use hooks and harpoons on these poor whales. Yes, there are pictures of these too. The blood red sea is like something out of the Bible.
Sickening.
Even more sickening are the people who finance these so-called activists who only seem to pick on Japan.

That doesn't go far enough. Japan should recognize its imperialist role in separating Taiwan from The Mainland and should actively support a peaceful reunification.
Tibetans know all about chiNazi's "peaceful reunification".
Just ask the peaceful nuns and monks who are being raped and tortured daily.
Calling the threat of invading Taiwan "peaceful reunification" is the same as saying the Nanjing Incident was just a "playful exercise to reduce over-population."

The china-nese government itself promotes lying and cheating , even to its own people. Read my post here on JT:
https://japantoday.com/category/features/food/how-china%E2%80%99s-appetite-for-salmon-could-reshape-global-seafood-markets
An important shift occurred in 2018, when the Chinese government permitted rainbow trout to be labeled and sold as salmon. This decision blurred the distinction between imported Atlantic salmon and locally farmed rainbow trout, creating a more accessible option for cost-sensitive consumers
"Chinese government permitted rainbow trout to be labeled and sold as salmon"
Basically the china-nese government is promoting FAKES.
Sticking feathers in your buttocks doesn't make you a chicken.
"..we found that many Chinese consumers could not distinguish between domestic rainbow trout and imported Atlantic salmon in blind testing... "
Basically, their government is allowing their own people to be FOOLED. If they couldn't tell the difference between real salmon and fake salmon, what's there to stop the sellers from charging their own people the same price as their fake salmons ( ie trouts)
.."But when informed about the origin, testers’ preferences shifted strongly in favour of imported Atlantic salmon.."
ie, even china people don't prefer their own country's product.

Good. Now we won’t have to pay extra for the rights to control it. The uk paid 400 million just for the rights to control the data for the F35 and that just shows you , when they control the data they’ve got you over a barrel. Good to see the UK building its own again. We built the jaguar, the tornado, the harrier (poo pooed, originally by the U.S.) eurofighter.
The Harrier would actually been a good Close-Air Support fighter for Japan, since Japan is a mountainous region with multiple islands. Stationing a couple of these on Senkaku would have been a good deterrent. Don't even need a runway.

You can tell that he was only touching her back and not her butt. It just looks that way because she was brushing his hand off and as it was coming down, it only appeared to be touching her butt.
But I guess the misandrists would look for any excuse to blame a dead man for something......while at the same time, being dismissive of a 50 yo Japanese woman who actually made unwanted sexual advances towards a male Korean artist and kissed his neck. And then bragged about it on social media.
Misandrist double standard.

Try having the same sentiment if the genders were reversed.
And before some misandrist moron claims women being harrassed is more severe, maybe you misandrists just think that because everytime a man gets harassed, you people dismiss it as if it was nothing. Apparently we are supposed to just "move on".
THAT's why society doesn't take sexual harassment towards men seriously. Because sexist sows like some of you exist.
