I prefer the bad guys to lose, and Iran is losing

If there is a "bad" side, it is certainly Israel. By a mile.

Restoring the grants after an appeal is not the same as admitting that they had gone too far.

Speaking of "already well described mechanisms", the researchers of the above article are still " looking for clues tying exercise to cancer prevention, whether through insulin processing or building up the immune system or something else."

The fact that they are considering insulin processing shows they are considering the effect of blood glucose on cancer, consistent with Warburg's discoveries.

Is like saying that smoking may be causing cancer because of the action of nicotine on the brain, in reality there are already well described mechanisms that explain why smoking causes cancer in the lungs so it makes no sense to pretend a theoretical reason "must" be responsible.

Just like the already well known mechanism described by RawBeer, discovered by Warburg.

Warburg isn't a Tiktok influencer, he published his data on cancer in the 1920s and got the Nobel Prize in Physiology in 1931.

It has been known for over a century, but many people continue to dismiss it. Their loss.

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said that some autistic children will never write poems.

SOME autistic children will never write poems. He never said all.

He said children with autism “will never pay taxes, they’ll never hold a job, they’ll never play baseball, they’ll never write a poem, they’ll never go out on a date. Many of them will never use a toilet unassisted.”

Here too, he was describing SOME children with autism, not all. They are misrepresenting RFKjr's statements in the way they are quoting him. This is just one more lame attempt to attack RFKjr.

For example about the recommendation on pregnancies

Your reference just says that some ob-gyns recommend it to protect infants from covid. But there are plenty of others who don't recommend it due to the high risks of miscarriage or infant deaths from causes other than covid.

The Moderna shot had a much higher dose than the Pfizer one, making it even more dangerous

Yet still much less dangerous than not vaccinating,

Not for healthy under-65s. That's why they stopped recommending it for that group.

The Moderna shot had a much higher dose than the Pfizer one, making it even more dangerous (higher rate of serious side effects).

The company finally admits that higher dose was completely unnecessary:

It found the new vaccine was safe and was at least as effective — and more by some measures — than the original shot, the company said.

Anyway, the measles vaccine is probably relatively safe, but I hope it will be properly tested.

But if they really want everyone to get it, why does the US only offer it as a combo?

Because it works.

One of the shots in the combo has serious risks. Why not offer them separately?

And evidently I was right about OT3?

No idea what your referring to. Is it relevant?

An ICU nurse handling Covid-19 patients once said that even the most devoted anti-vaxxers would crumble in their conviction and say "I changed my mind, I'll take the vaccine now" when their symptoms got bad enough.

There are many nurses who would also like to tell you about those who have come to regret getting the shot due to serious side effects.

Anyway, the measles vaccine is probably relatively safe, but I hope it will be properly tested.

The MMR comes with significant risks. That's why Japan does not offer the measles vaccine as an MMR combo.

In the US, you don't have that option, you have to take the MMR if you want a measles vaccine. So I understand why some are opting out.

Aren't those general infection control measures being practiced even before covid?

Medical institutes in many countries devised plans in case of pandemic, but those plans were all ignored when C19 appeared.

There was no solid rationale for the new measures. And the narrative that these measures saved millions of lives is based on severely inflated models.

European leaders have accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of dragging his feet in peace efforts while he tries to press his larger army’s battlefield initiative and capture more Ukrainian land.

No, the land that Russia wants to control is Russian territory, ever since the people voted overwhelmingly to join Russia in a referendum a few years ago.

Kiev forces will need to exit those territories for any ceasefire to happen.

"Imagine if there was a death or two in the placebo group," said Offit. "I don't see how you conscience that."

What Offit is worried about is that having a real placebo will expose the shots side effects. In Pfizer's first trial, the vax group had more deaths from all causes than the placebo group, so they quickly unblinded the study and gave everyone the shot, out of "compassion".
