Waste of time for a summit with China! China never sticks to any agreement!
For a nation with a rich history, rich culture and significant contributions to human civilization, the current CCP government destroys this image and generates an impression of dishonesty, intimidation and deceit. What a shame!

Beijing's claim has much merit under international law. Not only over the strait but the adjoining island too.
Tokyo needs to start respecting this provable reality if it wants respect.
China never follows international law, it just makes up nonsense and claims everything under "historical rights".
I think there is more respect for Japan than China in the world.

Complaints often center on issues of quality, maintenance, and technological compatibility. Countries that have purchased Chinese equipment have reported difficulties in obtaining spare parts, and a lack of adequate support.
Malfunctions, breakdowns, and even accidents, like the crashes of K-8W jets purchased by Venezuela.
The Bangladesh military expressed concerns about the quality of Chinese-made weapons and the lack of after support.
The RAND Corporation's report cited examples of faulty fighter jets sold to Nigeria and Myanmar.
Pakistan encountered malfunctions with Chinese equipment, leading to increased costs and delays.
The military in Myanmar found radar on JF-17 aircraft to be poorly accurate, and the aircraft itself lacking key features.

@ quercetum
China insisting on food safety protocols before letting foreign seafood swim onto dinner plates is terribly inconvenient. One might think they’re trying to protect their citizens or something equally egregious.
The nerve of China—making sure citizens aren’t served seafood with a side of isotopes.
China and Food Safety?? What a joke? Anybody with common sense knows these two things never go together. The joke is on the Chinese government, the Chinese who come to Japan continue to frequent the numerous seafood restaurants and ignore the trash talk of their own government.
The seafood being served with a side of isotopes, that's being done already to the Chinese citizens by their own government. Just allow the IAEA to test the waters around the numerous Chinese Nuclear Plants to confirm it!!

I visited the US Pavilion last week. There were 2 lines at 11:15am, attend the event in English (15 min wait), attend the event in Japanese (80 min wait). The video showing Americans eating American food was interesting, when apple pie and hot dogs were shown, surprisingly the room smelled like apple pie or a strong scent of vanilla.
In a larger room, it was visually stimulating standing under a space rocket and doing a countdown and then. . . . . (you have to go see it).
