Police in Tokyo have arrested a 17-year-old male high school student on suspicion of allegedly sexually assaulting an elementary school girl.

Police said the youth is also suspected of being involved in additional sexual assault and camera voyeurism cases, Kyodo News reported.

According to the warrant, the suspect assaulted the girl on a street in Koto Ward on the evening of July 28. The victim was heading home when the 17-year-old approached her from behind and began groping her body.

Security camera footage from the crime scene showed the suspect assaulting the child for about three minutes.

In addition, police said the suspect’s smartphone contained voyeuristic photos and videos taken at 10 high schools he attended over the last few years.

The teen is also suspected of sexually assaulting another young girl at a shopping complex in mid-August.

10 high schools. He needs professional help, not just passed on as someone else's problem.

So nobody can say they didn't know. THEY KNEW! and moved him on. The schools and the parents.

The sick pervert needs to undergo complete castration followed by 30 years prison. And mandatory monitoring for life as a sex offender.

Anyone want to hazard a guess as to where he intended to upload the photos/videos, and what sort of sites he views in his free time?

A future predator for sure.

You don't get moved around 10 high schools for being a model pupil.

By attending 10 different high schools, I take it they knew about his problem. To attend a whole 10 different high schools you must be a really troubled individual.

He's 17 and has attended 10 high schools over the last few years. This means that his parents, the school etc. knew of his actions and instead of reporting them and providing him with the proper rehabilitation necessary, they decided to cover it up and move him to another school. The parents and school officials involved should all be arrested for basically providing him new grounds to find new victims to victimize. They're all accessories to his crimes.

Japan treats sex crimes with such a light, almost blasé hand. This kind of mentality needs to change and they need a sex offenders registry to be introduced and implemented NOW.

Well, you are assuming that. Lots of assumptions there.

Some people seem to be defending this sick puppy here and the fact that he probably has a porn-infested mindset lol

If anyone asked him what he wants to be when he grew up, his answer must be a Psycho.

This is what happens when you limit the availability of loli hentai and cancel junior idols.

I did not know until reading a comment here that Japan does NOT have a sex offenders registry....WHY?? They work quite well in other countries so maybe Japanese people need to know if they have an abuser or child molester living in the same street. That may seem harsh for them, but the crimes they do are are sickening and much worse.
